Okay, let's define some terms first. Short term is duration of less than two years. Long term is of course, two years and more. Did you know that missionaries in the early 1900s packed their belongings in a casket? They went for life! OOPS, didn't mean to scare you with that example.

For long term service the Missionary Committee can be of great assistance. We're always looking for new missionaries for our different missions. The Ministry Manual gives a fairly clear picture of who the Missionary Committee is. The main areas in which help is needed are: church planters, child care workers, English teachers, missionary children teachers, youth workers, and support personnel (people who can organize finances and help manage a ministry on the mission field).
