Scott & Michelle Toth
Teacher is needed for the Toth children: 3 high schoolers, 2 in 5th grade and 1 in kindergarten. Here's some details: the length of stay can be anywhere from 3 to 6 months. The cost of stay in Brazil is $225/ month. ($100-rent, $25 - utilities, $100-food). We recommend that the short-termer takes about $100/month spending money for travel, personal items and any extras they want to buy. Accommodations would be in the mission building where their family lives. (email: tothpaz@uol.com.br)
Czech Republic
Todd & Hannah Morr - short-term workers; funds for summer camps (email: todd.c.morr@usa.net)
Ghana, Africa
Brother REX NOI suffered a stroke and required some hospitalization and treatment time. He has some paralysis on his left side and needs assistance to walk. Medical help may be sought abroad. The church is in constant prayer for his healing and restoration.
The MEDICAL CLINIC is almost completed and soon they will move all their equipment and offices into the new structure. It was quite a renovation project and thankfully funds from abroad came in to help them buy materials and supplies. They will still need financial help to fully equip, staff, and set up the entire operation.
The EDUCATION COMPLEX has taken a bit longer than expected but parts of it are nearing completion and can be used already. More funds would be appreciated to finish it off totally and the long anticipated move in could become a reality.
The monthly "operation assistance" from America is able to be met by the Western Missionary Committee. Pray for the work in Ghana and pray for the growing church and maturing believers.
Japan
English teachers needed for Tama Christian Family Center. You would teach conversational English for one hour, and then English Bible for 1/2 hour so that you are able to evangelize in English several times a day. Special degrees or understanding of the Japanese language is not necessary. You will also be involved in other ministries for children, youth, high school and college age people. Someone is needed for 1 or 2 years (school term is a full year). The best time to come is in March or August. Summer teachers are also needed for a 3-month term.
The Tecate church building has now been completed and efforts have been made to start new church beginnings down in central Mexico. Many Tecate believers have the "vision" of taking the Word back to their homelands or to the villages where they were born. A work team of young people from the Eastern Ontario (Canada) churches recently came to do all sorts of repair and maintenance projects for the church and even some of the older members. Horatio Roldan, an elder from Argentina, comes up often to counsel, teach and preach at the Tecate church. Your contributions are invited to meet some of the expenses of this growing ministry and outreach.
Papua New Guinea
The newly renamed GOOD NEWS CHRISTIAN CHURCH continues to grow and advance in establishing new churches and ministries. (Now over 12,000 strong in 110 churches) The Western Missionary Committee continues to send $1,500 a month for eight areas of need, which the local church cannot meet. When a "special need" comes up, a request is made to the Committee and if the money is there, it is sent to them. The work in PNG is completely indigenous and independent. Contributions are welcome to the General Fund and gifts can be given to individuals specifically.
With a new name (Good News Christian Church) and a new General Secretary (Kobol Kang) the church has now launched into building a new Administrative COMPLEX. Excavation has been made, the sawmill is cutting lumber and soon the new building will be rising up. Most of the labor is being donated, but there is a need for purchasing materials, cement and roofing.
In recent years the ADULT LITERACY PROGRAM has received a lot of attention and now well over 100 classes are in session in the district. These are adults and young people who have not had a chance to attend grade school but desire to read, especially His Word. Your prayers and gifts are solicited for this area of need. It has brought about great changes and rewards, in more people being able to read and getting into His Word in their own language.

Paraguay
English teachers for a whole school year (Feb - Nov), people with computer skills, people who want to teach musical instruments, etc. are needed.
A single person would need about $250 to $300/ month. (This would be for rent, utilities, food, spending money, medical insurance or travel.)
Scholarship donations ($300 a year) needed for the top student in every grade: 1st through 7th and for the needy families who can't afford, but deserve a Christian education for their kids.
The school needs about $1000.00 a month to be able to pay five full-time teachers, two secretaries and maintenance workers. Most of the members of our church are serving the Lord without financial benefits.
Work teams and/or funds for a variety of construction or paint jobs, both for the school project and for the Asuncion Church building project.
Agricultural skills are needed for a new project of working with the Native Indians. We are already starting to hand out Bibles and seeds in the different Reservations. There is a future project for an Agricultural school and an elementary school.

Project AmaZon
Jeff & Becky Hrubik - short-term workers (see www.projectamazon.org and hrubikfamily.homestead.com) (email: jeffhrubik@alternex.com.br)
Work teams for variety of construction projects 1-2 weeks.
Several projects really need a shot in the arm financially, if a team could invest part or all of the costs in one of these training centers, church buildings or remodeling projects it would greatly bless the project while they also work on it and encourage the local Brazilian believers. The values needed for these various projects vary and could be discussed with any interested parties.
Teachers for MK's-Elementary and/or H.S. 3-6months
Age no barrier if one has the heart and interest in teaching our kids
Dentists- 1-2 weeks of providing free clinics in river communities off of one of our Health Boats
Nurses(RN or LPN)- Who are sensing the call towards long term committment but would like a short term experience for two weeks or longer to further pursue God's leading. We would be very interested in supplying information and opening dialogue concerning this tremendous need.
